Cadi + Brandon
New Orleans, LA
New Orleans weddings are filled with fun! As we say here in the south, “ Laissez les bon temps roulez “ ( Let the good times roll ). Gumbo ya ya, french bread, crab cakes, and sweet tea was a great way to start off my work day at Mr. B’s Bistro, accompanied by my handsome assistant, my husband.Cadi and Brandon started their morning getting ready at the historical hotel, Monteleone, known for their infamous carousel bar. The french decor made for a perfect backdrop for photographs. When I arrived Cadi was finishing her last entry in her diary, as a letter to him on their big day! What better occasion to exchange gifts than your wedding day, especially sentimental ones! Not only was this the day joining their two lives together , it was also the day to bring one family together. And thats exactly what Cadi did when she included Brandon’s daughter, Ainston, giving her a handkerchief she can use on her wedding day. Gifts and love all around! When it was time to photograph Brandon and his posse we walked to one of my favorite streets in New Orleans, Exchange Place. Something else I enjoyed about this Nola wedding was how convenient she placed everything. Just a block or two walk away. The ceremony was sweet and intimate filled with candle light, rich berry tones in an awesome venue! It wouldn’t have been a true New Orleans wedding without ending the night with a second line band back to their hotel.
